Watch closely.  There stands a somewhat goofy aging man with a crazy dream.  See how he practices, fails, tries again.  Notice how circumstance pushes him into the company of Masters.  Examine how he is lifted up as his crazy dream becomes reality... up, up, and... gone. It occurred to me that it must seem that way.  I was "checking in" at least every other week for a time before my first magic performance.  Then, with a tip of the hat to everyone who got me there... POOF! Gone, for over a month now. It's not that my act was a "one and done" piece.  I've actually been quite busy, fixing what needed adjustment in the act (you never know how things will really play without an audience), and rehearsing new material.  I've also been working on my marketing materials, as I head after the next goal... by June, I intend to have one show a month booked till the end of the year.
